Hello All -
Well it has been a while since I have been able to post anything new for this blog - my
apologies to all. I have discovered that the new hub for all Scottish family history research will be opening in August, well a partial opening. This has been in the works for some time now and it is great to finally see it coming to pass.
There is a good article about the new centre in the Herald newspaper. You can read the article online at http://www.theherald.co.uk/news/focus/display.var.2378729.0.Getting_to_the_root_of_family_trees.php
Also, you can read the official news regarding the centre at their website at http://www.scotlandspeoplehub.gov.uk/
When the centre really gets fully opened it will be a great repository for all Scottish genealogy.
Until Next Time -
